Our Home-From-Home Ethos
Founded in 2002 by Leanora and now run with her daughter Laura, we are a true family nursery dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and playful environment.
- Home-From-Home: A warm, caring atmosphere where your child can thrive.
- Play-Based Learning: We encourage curiosity and development through fun, engaging activities.
Our long-standing, qualified team forms the heart of Laura’s Lodge. We are proud of our low staff turnover and the strong bonds we build with our families.
- Long-Tenured Staff: Many team members have been with us for over 5, 10, or even 20 years.
- Fully Vetted & Qualified: All staff are Access NI vetted and hold relevant childcare qualifications.
We provide a consistent and reassuring daily rhythm for children, with nutritious meals and a balance of play and rest.
- Nutritious Meals: Provided All meals and snacks are included, catered by Early Days Foods.
- Structured & Fun Days: Our daily flow includes toast time, a hot meal, snacks, and plenty of play.

Information for Parents
We partner with Early Days Foods to provide nutritious, balanced meals for all children. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, halal and allergy requirements. All meals are prepared following our 5-star food hygiene standards.
What are your opening hours?
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm.
What should I pack for my child?
Please provide spare clothes, nappies/wipes/cream, winter hat/gloves, summer hat, and sunscreen (we supply unless you prefer a specific brand).
Do you have a settling in period?
Yes, we offer a settling in period the week prior to start, from 09:30–11:30 on your scheduled days.
