Laura’s Lodge Day Nursery was founded in 2002 by Leanora Keating, who envisioned creating a warm, home-from-home environment where children could thrive. What began as a small family venture has grown into one of Antrim’s most trusted day nursery providers, now managed by Leanora and her daughter Laura. In our baby room, we focus on gentle sensory play experiences, while our toddler room and preschool room programmes build towards essential school readiness skills.
Our approach to early years education ensures that children develop not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. We work in partnership with parents to support each child’s individual journey, whether they’re joining our baby room or preparing for school in our preschool room. For older children, our after school club and holiday club provide continuity of care and engaging activities.
Settling In and Daily Routine
We understand that starting at a new day nursery can be a big step for both children and parents. That’s why we offer a comprehensive settling in period to ensure a smooth transition. During this time, children can gradually become familiar with their new environment, key workers, and friends in either our baby room, toddler room, or preschool room.
